Uttar Pradesh TGT Exam 2026: Exam Conducted Across State; 9 Impersonators Caught
On June 3, 2026, the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission successfully conducted the written examination for the Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) across the state. In the first shift, six impersonators were caught — two each in Lucknow, Bareilly, and Chitrakoot, and one each in Jaunpur and Mirzapur. During the second shift, three fake candidates were identified — two in Lucknow and one in Hathras.
In total, nine impersonators were arrested on the spot by local police, while two others managed to flee from the examination centers. Legal proceedings and further actions are underway against all involved individuals to uphold examination fairness and deterrence against malpractice.
